The park is open year round, with over 220 hookups, fully serviced with     water and electricity (up to 50 amps). The park boasts of a fishing pond, amphitheater, and circle dirt track for recreational fun. Hillside will also host outdoor gatherings for your business, club, or organization. Hillside is most famous for its Bluegrass Festival, held twice a year (May & September) on the campgrounds. The festival draws bluegrass fans and pickers from all over the country, and also has hosted concerts for big names like Gene Watson and Confederate Railroad. This is our favorite of all the Bluegrass Festival sites. The hillside terrain and abundance of beautiful trees makes this   a very enjoyable and pleasant site for any activity. All of our Bluegrass friends get excited and look forward to the Hillside camping, fellowship, concert, and campground pickin. Says Cheryl Evridge Don't leave Hillside Bluegrass and RV Park without visiting Little Ocmulgee State Park, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from Cochran for sure. Hillside Bluegrass and RV Park sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is October. A lot of fun is at this campground. Woods Golf Course is a glorious golf course close by, and while you're here you can play some golf at Uchee Trail Country Club. During the warm days of summer at Hillside Bluegrass and RV Park temperatures are regularly in the 90's with night lows in the 70's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Hillside Bluegrass and RV Park temperatures sink to the 30's. All our national parks are perfect places to take a look at, and Ocmulgee National Monument is no exception; as expected, this is a pleasant region for people who like lakes, Hill Lake is a lake in the neighborhood.
