This is a popular place for folks from Dawsonville, and a round of golf at nearby Nicklaus Golf Club at Birch River is a nice way to kill some time. Alright, it's about time you went camping, so what do you say? Hidden Valley Resort in Georgia is a perfect place to go. This place, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors cool things. Looking for some flowing water? Try Proctor Creek, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the DeSoto Falls Trail. Hidden Valley Resort in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise.
Do check out Girl Scout Camp Echo Lake near Hidden Valley Resort, it's a delightful lake, and there's whitewater on Etowah River for all you adrenaline kick people. Such a perfect selection of attractions and the perfect variety of outdoors recreation are nice motives to come.
Hidden Valley Resort is extremely popular with visitors from Dawsonville. Going for a hike along the Brookshire Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; obviously, everybody loves Vogel State Park. All the water falling down from the sky makes Hidden Valley Resort a wet place; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is October.

J. says: This is a Super Campground, but it might be important for you to know that it is ''clothing optional'' ... you wear as much or as little as you want, but don't be surprised to see people wearing just a smile. Also, the name as now changed to Paradise Valley Resort. It is family oriented and there is a daily fee.
