Etowah River Campground, Blue Ridge Mountains, Georgia Custom Search   I love camping at Etowah River Campground.  It is secluded and away from the traffic of the big lakes and Corps of Engineers campgrounds.  The owners are VERY friendly and will do anything to make your stay pleasurable.  You can hike and ride your ATV nearby, float the Etowah River or just relax.  There is no reason to run to town after your arrival.  The campsites are also very spacious and roomy, the bath house is clean and well maintained and the grounds       are well groomed.  I can't wait to go back.  It may just be the only place I camp from now on. Says Merlin Lucas ...Talk about a WONDERFUL CAMPGROUNDS sight!!!...We traveled from Minnesota to go camping with friends over Memorial   Day weekend (2009) and the Etowah River Campgrounds are EXCELLENT!!!..Large camp sights with electricity and water, clean restroom and showering facilities, access to ice and campfire wood, friendly people, and owners, Darrell & Jaki, greeting you upon arrival, making you feel at home (away from home) while you camp...The sight is beautiful, next to the river, and we would recommend it to everyone... The location next to the river is great, what a beautiful river, the facilities were clean and modern and the locals could not have been nicer. Campfires are welcome at here Etowah River Campground. There are showers here at Etowah River Campground; there are tent sites here where you can pitch a tent.
