Get dripping wet paddling on Tallulah River, and a tour to Tallulah Gorge State Park is a good idea. As if Early Sundown Campground wasn't enough, you can also go fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, playing golf, and hiking, so in all probability you want to stay for a while. by, and nearby you hit upon the Bartram Trail which is a fine hiking trail. Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. Drift down the rapids of Mud Creek in a kayak; if you're a golfer then a perfect nearby course is Apple Mountain
