Diamond Lure Campground gets lots of water; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest of the months is October. Go for a hike on the Mountaintown Creek Trail, and
    there are plenty of people from East Ellijay here at Diamond Lure Campground.
There is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of Diamond Lure Campground called the Benton Mackaye Trail, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Cartecay River. You've gotta get out, and Diamond
Lure Campground in Georgia is a really good location to spend some time.
The good variety of local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back over and over. Georgia has such a great deal of things to offer nature lovers. At Diamond Lure Campground through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Diamond Lure Campground through the wintertime generally sink into the 20's.

Going for a hike on the Tearbritches Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and you definitely should have a look at Amicalola Falls and Lodge State Park if you're here.
Some of the things you can do here at Diamond Lure Campground are whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. This is truly a fine campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Clear Creek, and Fort Mountain State Park is both wonderful and stunning. The surroundings of this campground have such a great deal of things to offer. There are nice locations to look at along the Bear Creek Trail.
The caring operators of the campground and the skillfully managed operations are a good draw for lots of people. Diamond Lure Campground is a very well esteemed campground by the residents of East Ellijay.
There's whitewater on Cartecay River for all you adrenaline junkies, and needless to say Licklog Creek is a charming stream that is worth taking a look at. This place is excellent, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do close to Diamond Lure Campground. Don't leave Diamond Lure Campground without first going for a hike along the South Fork Trail, and do explore Diamond Lure Lake Dam while you're here.
