  Cherokee Campground is a wonderful camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Blue Ridge Mountains. These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You need to pop by Grimes Nose if you're here at Cherokee Campground, and a wonderful lake like Sky Lake is a wonderful spot to visit. If spending too much time indoors got you down, Don't worry; Cherokee Campground in Georgia is such a pleasant place. High temperatures at Cherokee Campground all through the summer months are in the 80's, and the overnight
    is rather colder of course, commonly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows at Cherokee Campground all through the winter ordinarily drop into the 20's.
If you're here at Cherokee Campground, you could stop by Craig Creek, and there are perfect
spots to look at along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail. Don't leave Cherokee Campground without first going for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and magnificent water scenery is available at Sky Lake Dam close to Cherokee Campground.
You just must go for the Blue Ridge Mountains. Really nice skiing awaits you at Sky Valley, and there's great hiking along the Chattahoochee Trail. If you adore the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's hiking, playing golf, swimming, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things
 
to do.
Georgia is a pleasant place for outdoors people. Get wet paddling on Mud Creek, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Sautee Nacoochee. Cherokee Campground is a very popular campground among folks from Sautee Nacoochee.
Many folks stay at Cherokee Campground so they can go to Unicoi State Park. There is so much exciting stuff to do in close proximity to Cherokee Campground; it is a fun place for everybody. This is such a pleasant campground. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Arkaquah Trail; Innsbruck Resort & Golf Club is a golf course nearby.
The pleasant people working here and all the fun things to do attract folks from all over. That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Cherokee Campground has it all. This is such a picturesque campground. Unicoi State Park is a splendid place, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Cherokee Campground; Whitly Gap Trail is a great local trail.
The great variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are great incentives to come. The high level of rainfall makes Cherokee Campground a quite wet place; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
And that's not all you can do here at Cherokee Campground. Soar down the rapids of Chattahoochee River in a kayak, and a spree to Moccasin Creek State Park invigorates the spirit.
