There's more to do near Cherokee Campground other than just hanging out such as fishing, playing golf, hiking, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do. Going camping for a couple of days here in Georgia
is something you must do.
Cherokee Campground is an old favorite with folks of Sautee Nacoochee. Cherokee Campground is a wet location that gets much rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Be careful coming to Cherokee Campground, you might not ever want to return back home again. Do pop by Sky Lake Dam if you're here at Cherokee Campground, and you simply must go to Grimes Nose since you're here at Cherokee Campground.

more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Innsbruck Resort & Golf Club is a great golf course nearby, and there's great hiking along the Whitly Gap Trail. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cherokee Campground.
This campground is a picturesque location to stop at. Paddling on Mud Creek is so much fun, and don't leave Cherokee Campground without first going for a hike along the Chattahoochee Trail. All through the summertime here at Cherokee Campground, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. All through the winter the highs are frequently in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Cherokee Campground temperatures sink to the 20's.
All the delightful local attractions in the vicinity and all the outdoors recreation are delightful causes to come. A tour to Moccasin Creek State Park when you're here at Cherokee Campground is never a bad idea; you're sure to stumble upon some smiling folks from Sautee Nacoochee here. You'll discover a delightful lake called Sautee Creek Watershed Number 12 Lake near Cherokee Campground, and the slopes of Sky Valley are so inviting nobody can resist.
The folks who care for the campground and all the amusing things to do are cause enough to come here. Craig Creek flows through this area; the Arkaquah Trail offers hiking at its best. Hey, time to get out and breathe some fresh air, time to get out; Cherokee Campground in Georgia is exactly the spot.
