Chattahoochee National Forest is both great and stunning, and it's in the vicinity of Canal Lake Campground;
on a great day you can take a hike along the Arkaquah Trail. Canal Lake Campground is a pretty wet place generally with a lot of rain; most of the rain falls all through March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
There's so many things to do at
Canal Lake Campground including hiking, swimming, playing golf, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so it's completely out of the question to get bored. Loads of fun is at this campground. The DeSoto Falls Trail is a delightful hiking trail next to Canal Lake Campground, and Vogel
State Park is a tremendous location to take a look at on a delightful day. Loftis Mountain can be seen from Canal Lake Campground; if you're a golfer then a wonderful close by course is Union County Government Butternut Creek Golf Course.

Lake Campground, so little time. There is a pleasant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Canal Lake Campground called the Black Mountain Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Helton Creek offers some magnificent whitewater. This camp ground is positioned in the beautiful
Blue Ridge Mountains. The wonderful selection of local attractions, and all the outdoors recreation will without doubt have you coming back persistently.
Camping out positively is a great thing to do, and Canal Lake Campground is a wonderful local campground if you happen to
be in Georgia. Just can't get enough of Canal Lake Campground. Do schedule some time to go to Rogers Cove close to Canal Lake Campground if you have a chance, and float down the rapids of Cooper Creek in a kayak.
At Canal Lake Campground entertaining stuff to do is plentiful, and it positively is a wonderful campground.
