There's such an incredible array of things to do at Brookside Camp Ground including whitewater paddling, fishing, hiking, and swimming, so possibly you want to stick around for a while. You clearly have to have a thing about the Blue Ridge Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail, and a lake close by is Tallhurst Lake. These mountains rock, just look at all the cool stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Have a great hiking adventure along the DeSoto Falls Trail, and you can run the rapids of Tesnatee Creek. Everybody loves Chattahoochee National Forest, and Brookside Camp Ground is right by the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. The wonderful variety of local attractions and   all the outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Joes Branch is a good local stream, and Unicoi State Park is worth stopping at. Several people choose Brookside Camp Ground to be near Chattahoochee National Forest. The high level of rain makes Brookside Camp Ground a reasonably wet place; the wettest month of the year is commonly March, that's the one that rains the most, and October on the other hand is the driest. This campground is so nice. Hiking along the Chattahoochee Trail is brilliant fun; a nice location for whitewater paddling is Dodd Creek. Georgia is a good site for outdoors people. At Brookside Camp Ground through the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while Brookside Camp Ground nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's.
