Big Hart Campground, Georgia   Our 1st time staying at this campground and it was wonderful, clean and not crowded. The campsite views of the lake are fantastic. Big Hart Campground is a relatively wet place mostly with lots of rainfall; all through the month of January you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is September. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; Big Hart Campground has it all. High temperatures at Big Hart Campground     during the warmest time of the year are in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Big Hart Campground are in the 20's. Among the things you can do near Big Hart Campground are playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so there's absolutely no way to get bored. Everybody loves Hamilton Branch State Park, and in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Savannah River. Such a good choice of attractions and such a good variety of outdoors recreation will absolutely have you coming back time and again. The surroundings of this campground have so many things to offer. If you're dropping by Big Hart Campground from Dearing, you won't be the only one, and Stevens Creek is a great   whitewater spot nearby. Scores of people stay at this campground to stop by close by Mistletoe State Park. Mistletoe State Park is a delightful site, and a fine site for whitewater paddling is Ogeechee River. For you golfers we recommend close by Belle Meade Country Club, and Thomson Country Club is a golf course close by.
