| | This is one of the nicest campgrounds East of the Mississippi River! I have been to many! Mike and Pam have taken a run-down campground and turned it around and into one that anyone will be glad to visit. There are tons of things to see and do in the area. Says Debbie
Mike and Pam has done a beautiful job with the park. We have a place in the residential section of Bald Mountain Park and we have to go thru the park to get to our place and each time we go up there we notice somrthing else that they have done to the park to make it look better. |

| Ridge Mountains is excellent! Hiking along the Whitly Gap Trail is wonderful fun, and Chattahoochee National Forest is a striking location any time of year. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Hiwassee River and High Shoals Creek; a pleasant trip to Harris Cove is a great way to spend an afternoon. The good choice of local attractions, and the nearby outdoors recreation will beyond doubt have you coming back many times. hiking, whitewater paddling, and playing golf, so running out of fun stuff to do won’t happen. The pleasant people working here and the fine huge amount of fun activities will make you feel good. Bald Mountain Park Campground is a top choice campground with folks in Hiawassee.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable stuff just keep reading. Good hiking is available along the Arkaquah Trail, and there's good hiking along the Chattahoochee Trail. Having a good time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is painless. This is such a scenic campground.
The Appalachian National Scenic Trail offers hiking at its best, and folks from Hiawassee love to come here. If you're here, you might as well check out Pine Cove; Sky Valley has fine slopes and a friendly staff.
