Bald Mountain Park Campground, Blue Ridge Mountains, Georgia   Mike and Pam has done a beautiful job with the park. We have a place in the residential? section of Bald Mountain Park and we have to go thru the park to get to our place and each time we go up there we notice somrthing else that they have done to the park to make it look better. We used to camp alots before we got our own place,I? would say that Bald Mountain Park is one of the cleanest park that we have every camp at.?????????? KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK THAT YOU''ll ARE DOING! Mike and Pam have taken a run-down campground and turned it around and into one that anyone will be glad to visit. There are tons of things to see and do in the area. Says Debbie Chattahoochee National Forest is a picturesque spot any time of year, and from Bald Mountain Park Campground you obtain a splendid view of Ivy Mountain. You absolutely ought to love the Blue Ridge Mountains. If the weather is fine here at Bald Mountain Park Campground, you can go for a hike along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail, and taking a little tour to close by Bayless Cove is a great idea. This campground is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Moccasin Creek in the neighborhood of Bald Mountain Park Campground, and what would winter be without some skiing at Sky Valley. Throughout the summertime months   here at Bald Mountain Park Campground, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Bald Mountain Park Campground. And that's not all you can do here at Bald Mountain Park Campground. Unicoi State Park is a magnificent place to stretch your legs a bit, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the area in close proximity to Bald Mountain Park Campground has to offer. If you're a golfer then a perfect nearby course is Chatuge Shores Golf Course; on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Whitly Gap Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bald Mountain Park Campground a wet location; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest of the months is October. You might want to pay a visit to Pine Cove if you're here at Bald Mountain Park Campground; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Chattahoochee Trail. Coming to this campground is always a brilliant idea. Harris Cove is a good place, and get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Chattahoochee River. Man, is there a load of enjoyable things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. People from Hiawassee love to come to Bald Mountain Park Campground, and hiking along the Arkaquah Trail is great fun. Hooper Branch flows through this area, and there's whitewater on Hiwassee River and High Shoals Creek for all you adrenaline people. So many fun things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too great to be true.
