Arkaquah Trail is a good local trail. Appalachian Camp Ground regularly gets much rain; the wettest month of the year is typically March, that's the one that rains the most, and October on the other hand is the driest. A lot of people choose this campground for the purpose of being
near Unicoi State Park. Having a good time at Appalachian Camp Ground is easy. Good hiking is available along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail, and a trip here wouldn’t be complete without a visit to close by Unicoi State Park. A visit to Georgia is not complete without some camping.
This campground is so great. Grapevine Cove is a wonderful place to discover, and there's magnificent hiking along the Chattahoochee Trail. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Chattahoochee River; a lake nearby is Unicoi State Park Lake. You have to get out of the house, and Appalachian Camp Ground in Georgia is precisely what you need.
