Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Dodd Creek, and there are great sites to discover along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail.

Appalachian Camp Ground; Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a magnificent local trail. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Unicoi State Park is a tremendous place, and glorious hiking is available along the Arkaquah Trail.
This campground has so many entertaining things to offer. Sky Valley is a nice local ski area, and it's a delightful idea to stop by High Shoals Creek.
It's really not good for you to spend too much time in the city; you need to get out of the house every so often, and Appalachian Camp Ground, Georgia is a pleasant

During the long summer days at Appalachian Camp Ground temperatures are frequently in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while Appalachian Camp Ground overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. Some activities here at Appalachian Camp Ground are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
Some people stay here in order to be close to Unicoi State Park. All the water falling down from the sky makes Appalachian Camp Ground a wet site; most of the rain falls during March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you feel like a little side journey, try Grapevine Cove; there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Hiwassee River and High Shoals Creek.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Whitly Gap Trail. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. A good view of picturesque Hanson Mountain is available from Appalachian Camp Ground, and as expected, everyone loves Moccasin Creek State Park. This campground is so pleasant. Here at Appalachian Camp Ground you'll possibly meet some folks from Sautee Nacoochee, and don't leave Appalachian Camp Ground without first going for a hike along the Chattahoochee Trail.
