Welaka Lodge and Resort, Florida   Catering to the casual and avid fisherman and their families, outdoor enthusiasts, or just those looking for a quiet respite in a beautiful setting, Welaka Lodge and Resort luxury cottage accomodations in an Old Florida setting. Welaka Lodge & Resort consists of one and two bedroom cottages. These cottages are built in the Florida Vernacular (Cracker) style with wide porches, metal roofs, and traditional lap or board-n-batten siding. In addition to cottages we offer twelve full hookup 20/30/50 amp RV sites with picnic table and fire ring. With     the amenities provided we are an ideal location for family reunions, corporate retreats, and wedding parties. Marina includes Dock Side Bar and 12 boat slips. Pool and Bath House During your journey to Welaka Lodge and Resort you'll meet some folks from Welaka for sure, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Ocala National Recreation Trail. Coming to this campground is always a tremendous idea. Going to Ravine Gardens State Park near Welaka Lodge and Resort is a great thing to do, and Live Oak Golf & Country Club is a golf course nearby. Welaka Lodge and Resort is a wet site that gets a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest month of the year is April. Through the summertime months at Welaka Lodge and Resort highs are frequently in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 70's.
