| | Lake Wales Campground is fun for any age, although during the winter weather to the North of us we are home to a great many ''snowbirds'' there are plenty of activities to keep you busy, from potluck suppers, jam sessions by local talent, plays performed by the friendly folks who winter here at Lake Wales Campground, to outing around our fair city, there never seems to be a lack of thing to do. During the Summer we have a few return travelers, bicyclist blazing a trail, weekend getaway families from just about everywhere. Our weather during the summer |

can seem at times stifling to those who are not used to the heat with a combination of high humidity, but with beaches no more than 2 hours away to either coast you will enjoy the relaxation of the ocean or the slightly warmer water of our indoor swimming pool. We also have a
| small basket ball court, shuffleboard courts, and small gym, computer room/library to entertain your time. While here please feel free to bring your computer, should you need to do a little bit of work or just need to surf the web for details on a day trip, we have WiFi access to all of our sites. When you're here at Lake Wales Campground it's always fun to explore Highlands Hammock State Park, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not take a look at Blue Lake. The warmest time of the year at Lake Wales Campground comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and through
