Georgetown Marina and Lodge, Florida   I have stayed at G.M. campground for several years. The service is excellent an the Staff very customer friendly. I have been going to Lake George for over 20 years and stayed at other campgrounds and G.M.&L. is without a doubt the best in the area.(Steve Smith-Savannah G.) If you've got cabin fever from too much time indoors, No problem at all; Georgetown Marina and Lodge     in Florida is a great pick. Don't forget to explore Keeths Point while you're here at Georgetown Marina and Lodge, and Ocala National Forest is a perfect place to visit. There is so much cool stuff to do close to Georgetown Marina and Lodge, and if you're searching for a great location to go for a camping trip, this is a nice pick. The good people of Georgetown like to hang out close by, and a journey to Ravine Gardens State Park revitalizes the spirit. Florida is a great location for campers. The staff that manages this campground and the nicely kept up facilities makes the tour here worthwhile. During the summertime highs here at Georgetown Marina and Lodge reach the 90's while overnight lows are regularly in the 70's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are generally in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Georgetown   Marina and Lodge are in the 40's. The good variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will beyond doubt have you coming back over and over. Some folks stay at Georgetown Marina and Lodge when they come to visit Ocala National Forest. Georgetown Marina and Lodge generally gets a great deal of rainfall; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and April meanwhile is the driest month. This is a brilliant campground. The Ocala National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best, and a golf course nearby is Live Oak Golf & Country Club.
