Georgetown Marina and Lodge, Florida   I have stayed at G.M. campground for several years. The service is excellent an the Staff very customer friendly. I have been going to Lake George for over 20 years and stayed at other campgrounds and G.M.&L. is without a doubt the best in the area.(Steve Smith-Savannah G.) Georgetown Marina and Lodge in Florida is such a splendid place. Georgetown Marina and Lodge is     frequently visited by the folks from Georgetown. Some of the things you can do here at Georgetown Marina and Lodge are playing golf, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Hiking along the Ocala National Recreation Trail is perfect fun, and if you're visiting from Georgetown, you won't be the only one. The friendly folks working here and all the great passtime activities have people coming here. Quite a lot of enjoyable stuff to do next to Georgetown Marina and Lodge, and it's always fun to be at this place. The high level of rainfall makes Georgetown Marina and Lodge a pretty wet site; most of the rain falls during August, and April is the month with the least moisture. Camping in Florida is such a fun thing to do. Taking a little tour to close by Keeths Point is a pleasant idea,   and Ocala National Forest is a good location to stretch your legs a bit. This is a good campground. While you're here at Georgetown Marina and Lodge you can play some golf at Live Oak Golf & Country Club, and places like Ravine Gardens State Park are pleasant to check out. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Georgetown Marina and Lodge. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 60's with temperatures at Georgetown Marina and Lodge dipping down into the 40's through winter nights. All the wonderful local attractions close by and such a large number of things to do are delightful reasons to come.
