| | Gator Park is not the only place close by, Lake Chekika is a close by lake, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Holiday Trail.
This is a great campground. If time allows, Everglades National Park is a national park worth stopping at, and going for a hike on the Tamiami Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is swimming, hiking, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do.
Be careful coming to Gator Park, you might not ever want to return home again. |

Biscayne National Park is a perfect local destination here at Gator Park, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Sand Point Trail. Such a fine pick of attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. High temperatures at Gator Park during the
| months of summer are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 70's. All through the winter highs are in the 70's, and nighttime lows in the 50's for Gator Park.
Gator Park is close to The Barnacle Historic State Site which is a picturesque location, and going for a hike along the Hog Head Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. June is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is December.
Ok, you've been indoors for too long, time has come to get out, and Gator Park in Florida is such a magnificent place. The folks who look after the campground and a tremendous variety of cool stuff have lots of folks coming here. Camping in Florida is such an enjoyable activity.
