| | Camping at Big Oaks is GREAT!!!! Bath houses are clean and the showers in the one section are the best I have evered used in a campground. When looking for a place to camp at the beach resort look at Big Oaks its worth the trip. Says Michael Castura Jr.

At Big Oaks Family Campground during the months of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Big Oaks Family Campground.

All the water falling down from the sky makes Big Oaks Family Campground a wet spot; during the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is typically the driest month. This is such a fun place for a campground. A picturesque
lake like Red Mill Pond right next door to Big Oaks Family Campground is a fine location to check out, and one of the best things about this place is its proximity to Old Inlet Beach.
