  Everybody needs to go for a camping trip every so often, and Seaport Campground in Connecticut is such a splendid place. A trip to Seaport Campground wouldn’t be complete without a visit to nearby Bluff Point Coastal Reserve State Park, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Seaport Campground; Narragansett Trail is a delightful local trail. At Seaport Campground exciting stuff to do is plentiful, and it's one of those places where everything is splendid. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the cool stuff you can do is swimming, whitewater paddling,
    hiking, playing golf, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.

The workforce of this splendid campground and all the great passtime activities are rather mind-boggling. The high level of rainfall makes Seaport Campground a rather wet site; November is the wettest month with most rain; June is when it's the driest.

recreation are good reasons to come.
One of the best things about Seaport Campground is its proximity to Nauyaug Coast, and Shipyard Point is not far at all. Lots of fun is at this campground. At Seaport Campground you always meet someone from Mystic, and if you're a golfer then a good close by course is Pequot Golf Club. During your stay at Seaport Campground do explore close by Esker Point Beach, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Mystic River.
Connecticut is a splendid place for campers. There's whitewater on Natchaug River for all you adrenaline junkies, and don't leave without popping by Haley Farm State Park. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Seaport Campground, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 30's, and overnight lows at Seaport Campground during the wintertime commonly sink into the 10's.
But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Seaport Campground. Playing golf is lots of fun at Elmridge Golf Course, and on a beautiful day you acquire a magnificent panorama of Pine Hill from Seaport Campground. Seaport Campground is a very popular campground with the folks in Mystic.
Golf can be played at Birch Plain Golf Course & Driving Range, and a delightful location to go to close by is Cormorant Reef.
