Rocky Neck State Park, Connecticut   For the duration of the days of summer at Rocky Neck State Park highs are mostly in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Gorton Pond Dam, and if you come at the right time of year, Salmon River offers some splendid whitewater. On a magnificent day it's a brilliant idea to spend the day at Attawan Beach; why not take a little visit to Red Brook if you're here. Rocky Neck State Park is located in an area with a lot of entertaining things to do, and spending time at this campground is very pleasant. So many entertaining things to do at Rocky Neck State Park, so little time. Get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Hammonasset River. This is really a fine campground. Take some time to pop by Indian Woods if you're here, and Giants Neck Beach is rather close by if you're in a beach type of mood. The nice choice of local attractions, and the nearby outdoors recreation are delightful causes to come. Just can't get enough of Rocky Neck State Park. A round of golf at nearby Cedar Ridge Golf Course is a perfect way to kill some time, and at Rocky Neck State Park you can spot Mount Ararat.
