River Road Campground, Connecticut   Hey, it's the right time to go camping, wouldn't you agree? River Road Campground in Connecticut is the outdoors at its most excellent. The glorious variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. Much rain falls at River Road Campground; during the month of April you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. River   Road Campground is a campground that is incredibly loved by the people in Clinton. Throughout the summertime months, highs regularly are in the 80's at River Road Campground. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's while River Road Campground overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. There's such a vast number of things to do at River Road Campground including hiking, swimming, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so in all probability you want to stick around for a while. Loads of people opt for this campground to be right next door to Hammonasset Beach State Park.
