Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the exciting stuff you can do is swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, playing golf, and fishing, so it's totally impossible to get bored. River Bend Campground is a very popular campground with the people
    in Oneco. The pleasant selection of local attractions, and the nearby outdoors recreation are good reasons to come. This campground is so great.
Crooked Brook flows through this region, and Oneco Pond Dam has brilliant water scenery.
You're almost certainly addicted to
lakes, Carbuncle Pond is one of those close by, and the wonderful folks of Oneco like to hang out close by. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Natchaug River, and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a very fine place to explore. The personnel of this delightful campground and all the entertaining things to do attract folks from all over.
River Bend Campground usually gets a large amount of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. Enjoy a round of golf at Brooklyn Golf Course
 
not far from River Bend Campground; a nice spot like Quaddick State Park is too pleasant to leave out. This is a great campground. Going for a hike along the Walkabout Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a good place close by.
Quite a lot of entertaining things to do next to River Bend Campground, and it definitely is a delightful campground. On a fine day at River Bend Campground you can take a hike along the Narragansett Trail; don't leave without stopping by Hopeville Pond State Park. A campground like this is too great to miss. Take a hike on the Narragansett Trail; everybody close by loves skiing at Yawgoo Valley.
Have a great hiking adventure along the Border Trail, and get dripping wet paddling on Quinebaug River.
That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; River Bend Campground has it all. While you're here at River Bend Campground you can play some golf at Foster Country Club, and the peak of Pine Hill can be spotted from River Bend Campground. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Soar down the rapids of Clear and Branch in a kayak, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Munyan Trail. It's unhealthy to be in a building every day; you've gotta get out from time to time, and River Bend Campground is a delightful local campground if you happen to be in Connecticut.
While visiting this area in Connecticut it's a delightful idea to go camping for a couple of days too. A lot of people camp here when going to Hopeville Pond State Park. At River Bend Campground through the summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows at River Bend Campground through the wintertime frequently drop into the 10's.

Tent camping is available - Limited tent sites without hook ups available
RV hookups are available - 125 RV hookups - RV sites available, some with full hook up, some with water/electric/gray water.  Water and electric no sewer
Pets are allowed - Pets allowed with copy of record of shots.  No known biters, no aggresive or attack dogs.  Rules can be obtained at check in.
Campfires are allowed - Yes, fires of reasonable size, must be maintained within the firering provided.  Do not bring in out of state firewood.  All fire wood should be purchased locally or at the park!
