Get yourself into a kayak and hit Natchaug River, and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a very fine place to explore. River Bend Campground usually gets a large amount of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. Heritage Corridor is a good place close by. Quite a lot of entertaining things to do next to River Bend Campground, and it definitely is a delightful campground. On a fine day at River Bend Campground you can take a hike along the Narragansett Trail; don't leave without stopping
by Hopeville Pond State Park. A campground like this is too great to miss. Take a hike on the Narragansett Trail; everybody close by loves skiing at Yawgoo Valley. Have a great hiking adventure along the Border Trail, and get dripping wet paddling on Quinebaug River. That
right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; River Bend Campground has it all. While you're here at River Bend Campground you can play some golf at Foster Country Club, and the peak of Pine Hill can be spotted from River Bend Campground. This is no place for people who don’t
like to enjoy themselves. Soar down the rapids of Clear and Branch in a kayak, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Munyan Trail. It's unhealthy to be in a building every day; you've gotta get out from time to time, and River Bend Campground is a delightful
local campground if you happen to be in Connecticut. While visiting this area in Connecticut it's a delightful idea to go camping for a couple of days too. A lot of people camp here when going to Hopeville Pond State Park. At River Bend Campground through the summer highs are
in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows at River Bend Campground through the wintertime frequently drop into the 10's.
