Odetah Campground, Connecticut

  I am staying at odatah camp ground as I write this thay have wi-fi which is great. This is our first time here and we love it. we will be comming back many more times. We are staying in a nice cabin, but thay have very good camp sites as well. are cabin has a fridge,doubble bed,three twin beds but the (twins are a little narrow). This morning we played horseshoes Yhe seasonal campers were very under standing of are unfamiliarity with the game and had a wonderful time.we then went swimming in the lake. that was great. we then went in the pool and the hottub.
    hottub was nice and big. we then played shuffleboard and went to a barbeque(exellent ribs)and listen to a very good band. All in one day. can't wait for tomorrow. Says Mark knapp

brings highs in the 70's to Odetah Campground. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Odetah Campground drop into the 10's. This campground is a picturesque place to take a look at. Visit Gardner Brook if you're here at Odetah Campground, and get covered with water paddling on Salmon River.

If time allows, Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth stopping at. Odetah Campground regularly gets lots of rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain while February is generally the driest month.
Don't leave Odetah Campground without visiting Mansfield Hollow State Park; a great swamp close to Odetah Campground is Dark Swamp. When was the last occasion you went camping? Odetah Campground in Connecticut is such a brilliant location.
The great local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation will beyond doubt have you coming back again and again. In Connecticut you never run out of outdoors cool stuff. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Quinebaug River, and Stoddard Hill State Park is worth going to.
Going for a hike along the Narragansett Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and there are other sites here than Odetah Campground, for example Oxoboxo Lake. Fitchville Pond Dam is a place that is next to Odetah Campground, and Odetah Campground is a place with many visitors from Bozrah.
And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do close to Odetah Campground. Whitewater paddling is great on Natchaug River, and you can make out Brush Hill from Odetah Campground. Odetah Campground is a very popular campground with the people from Bozrah. The brilliant folks who control this location and all the cool stuff to do makes the visit here worthwhile.
Among the things you can do close to Odetah Campground are fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so in all probability you want to stick around.
