Odetah Campground, Connecticut

I am staying at odatah camp ground as I write this thay have wi-fi which is great. This is our first time here and we love it. we will be comming back many more times. We are staying in a nice cabin, but thay have very good camp sites as well. are cabin has a fridge, doubble bed, three twin beds but the (twins are a little narrow). This morning we played horseshoes Yhe seasonal campers were very under standing of are unfamiliarity with the game and had a wonderful time.we then went swimming in the lake. that was great. we then went in the pool and the hottub.
hottub was nice and big. we then played shuffleboard and went to a barbeque(exellent ribs)and listen to a very good band. All in one day. can't wait for tomorrow. Says Mark knapp

If you haven’t been to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor, you
have to schedule some time for it since you're here, and the Narragansett Trail offers hiking at its best. All the water falling down from the sky makes Odetah Campground a wet spot; the month with most of the rain is November while February is ordinarily the driest month. For the period of the long summer days at Odetah Campground highs are usually in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Odetah Campground. This campground
is always a diversion. You can take a little spree to Fitchville Pond Dam if you're here at Odetah Campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River.
Odetah Campground really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Dark Swamp is right close by, and during your trip here you'll meet some folks from Bozrah for sure. Don't forget to take a fine little visit to Gardner Brook, and when you're here it's always fun to take a look at Stoddard Hill State Park. Odetah Campground is not the only location close by, Oxoboxo Lake is a close by lake; there are some nice whitewater spots on Quinebaug River.
This is such a fun site for a campground. Here at Odetah Campground you can make out Brush Hill. Mansfield Hollow State Park is a delightful site to stretch your legs a bit; drift down the rapids of Natchaug River in a kayak.
