Little City Campground, Connecticut   Some people stay at Little City Campground to check out nearby Millers Pond State Park. The surroundings of this campground have so much to offer. Millers Pond State Park is a great location to pop by on a gorgeous day, and going for a hike on the Mattabesset Trail is always a wonderful adventure. This campground is so brilliant. There's whitewater on Salmon River for all you adrenaline kick people. Little City Campground is a reasonably wet place generally with much precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with     the least amount of precipitation. Such a pleasant pick of attractions and all the outdoors recreation will absolutely have you coming back over and over. Little City Campground is a campground relatively often visited by visitors from Higganum. That right there is a load already, but it continues; Little City Campground has it all. On a wonderful day you acquire a panorama of Bunker Hill from Little City Campground; don't leave Little City Campground without first going for a hike along the Mattabesset Trail. This part of Connecticut has a great deal of outdoors activities on hand. Hey, you've been cooped up too long, time's here for camping, and Little City Campground in Connecticut is the outdoors at its best. At Little City Campground throughout the warm months highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it   cools down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Little City Campground. Do go to Black Shop Pond close to Little City Campground, it's a wonderful lake; there are some good whitewater spots on Roaring Brook River. Little City Campground is positioned in a neighborhood with lots of cool things to do, and it is a very great campground. You definitely must have a look at Chatfield Hollow State Park if you're here at Little City Campground, and there's great hiking along the West Woods Trail. There are pleasant locations to look at along the Washington Trail, and you'll probably meet some people from Higganum here. If you come at the right time of year, Hammonasset River offers some great whitewater, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Powder Ridge while you're here. There's plenty of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
