cools down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Little City Campground. Do go to Black Shop Pond close to Little City Campground, it's a wonderful lake; there are some good whitewater spots on Roaring Brook
River. Little City Campground is positioned in a neighborhood with lots of cool things to do, and it is a very great campground. You definitely must have a look at Chatfield Hollow State Park if you're here at Little City Campground, and there's great hiking along the West
Woods Trail. There are pleasant locations to look at along the Washington Trail, and you'll probably meet some people from Higganum here. If you come at the right time of year, Hammonasset River offers some great whitewater, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go
skiing at Powder Ridge while you're here. There's plenty of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. The kind reception and all the great passtime activities have loads of people coming here.
