The personnel who's always there to assist and the ably run operations are rather amazing. If you like the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's hiking, playing golf, fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
A visit to Highland Orchards Resort Park wouldn’t be complete without a visit to nearby Hopeville Pond State Park; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Quinebaug River.
If you come to this campground, you will have a perfect time for
sure. You can run the rapids of Matunuck Shore Break near Highland Orchards Resort Park, and a golf course nearby is Pequot Golf Club. This campground has it all. There's whitewater on Natchaug River for all you adrenaline junkies, and a trip to Haley Farm State Park is a glorious
idea.
Visiting Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. It's really not good for you to be inside all the time; you need to get out of the house sometimes, and Highland Orchards Resort Park in Connecticut is the outdoors at its finest.
