Camping out sure is a pleasant thing to do, and Devil's Hopyard State Park in Connecticut is a really great site to spend some time. The nearby class       II, 4.6-mile-long Old Route 2 to covered bridge at Highway 16 segment of whitewater on Salmon River is plenty of fun. The skilled paddlers should most likely stay away from this segment of Salmon River. Paddling may become hazardous,   so check the situation before you go. Everyone enjoys an outstanding game of mini golf at Prehistoric Mini Golf & Ice, and beaches are glorious and Chapman Strand is no exception. A spree to Selden Neck State Park rejuvenates the spirit; take a spree to nearby Emerald Winds Gypsy & Drum Horses and ride a horse. This is such a scenic campground.
