Black Rock State Park, Connecticut Custom Search   Took a last minute night away and took a chance with this state park as in the past CT state parks have not been well kept. To our surprise when we pulled in the driveway we knew we picked the right place to stay. Sites were spacious and included a fire pit with grill attached that can be lifted up to enjoy your campfire after cooking your dinner. Whole park and facilities were just updated for this camping season including spotless free showers and automatic       flushing toilets. Total fees for CT resident were only $20, there are several private campgrounds that charge at least double that and are not this nice and well maintained. I can't say enough about it. Black Rock State Park is a   definite #1 pick. Says Kelly Black Rock State Park is a very popular campground with the folks in Thomaston. Quite a lot of exciting stuff to do near Black Rock State Park, and it's one of those locations where everything is good. Loads of folks select Black Rock State Park so they can go to Black Rock State Park. Famous Connecticut generosity and the huge number of exciting stuff to do attract folks from far and near. All the great local attractions       close by and all the outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back over and over. There's so much to do at Black Rock State Park including fishing, playing golf, hiking, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so probably you   want to stick around. With so many things to do in Connecticut you'll never get bored. Got cabin fever from too much time inside, Don't worry; Black Rock State Park in Connecticut is such a good location.
