Such a wonderful choice of attractions and the wonderful variety of outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. There are so many amusing things to do close to Acorn Campground; being here is great fun any time.

A great site for whitewater paddling close to Acorn Campground is Roaring Brook River. This campground is a wonderful location to visit. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Salmon River; at Acorn Campground you can distinguish Scott Hill. Some folks stay at this campground for the purpose of being near Devils Hopyard State Park. You're probably into lakes, Gardner Lake is one of those close by, and sites like Rocky Neck State Park are great to visit.
Devils Hopyard State Park is a wonderful site any
time of year, and Pequot Ledge is an out of the ordinary site to stop by while at Acorn Campground. So many cool things to do here at Acorn Campground, too great to be true. While you're here at Acorn Campground you will meet lots of folks from nearby Gilman, and why not stop
at Gardner Lake Dam while you're here.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Acorn Campground a wet place; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
