The great people of Glenwood Springs like to hang out nearby; Windy Point is near Cemetery Gulch which is undeniably worth visiting.

Hit the slopes at Sunlight Mountain close by, and a round of golf at nearby Ironbridge Golf Club is a pleasant way to kill some time. Rifle Falls State Park is a fine spot to go to.

Not much rain falls here at Windy Point; through October
this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A visit to Colorado is not complete without some camping.
