Quite a lot of entertaining things to do near Wildwood Motel, and it is a pleasant campground. The Almont to Blue Mesa Reservoir section is a delightful 18-mile-long grade II section of whitewater on Gunnison River. It's most likely ok to go kayak paddling on this section of Gunnison River even if you feel your kayak paddling capabilities aren't very delightful. Whitewater kayaking and rafting could turn treacherous, so check restrictions previous to going. Looking for some flowing water? Try Antelope Creek, and a day of fishing at       Scenic River Tours is always a wonderful idea. The Mill-Castle Trail offers hiking at its best, and going for an outstanding fishing trip at Gunnison Sports Outfitters is always enjoyable. If you come to this campground, you will   have a good time for sure. Visiting Curecanti National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. When you're here at Wildwood Motel it's always fun to visit Gunnison National Forest, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Gunnison Golf Club is close by.
