Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! West Lake is peerless! You can run the rapids of Big Thompson River in the vicinity of West Lake; don't forget to take a good little tour to Dixon Creek. And if that's not enough there's loads more enjoyable things to do in the Front Range. Cache La Poudre River is a delightful whitewater spot in the neighborhood of West Lake, and a journey to Boyd Lake State Park is a delightful idea. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Cache La Poudre River, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Greyrock Trail. You have to get out of the house, and West Lake in Colorado is precisely the location. The friendly folks working here and loads of enjoyable stuff to do makes the journey here worthwhile. Just can't get enough of the   Front Range. West Lake is a place with many visitors from Fort Collins, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Round Mountain Trail. Lots of folks camp here to check out nearby Lory State Park. There are so many fun things close to West Lake, and when you get to enjoy this place for a while you will feel like a new person. This campground is always a delight. Lakes? Sure, Dixon Reservoir is around here, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Wintersteen Trail. Fort Collins Country Club Golf is a magnificent golf course close by, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Jug Trail. This is such a fun location for a campground. Spring Canyon Dam is a location that is near West Lake, and a wonderful location like Lory State Park is too good to leave out. All the outdoors cool things close to West Lake will keep you coming back again and again. West Lake is a campground quite often visited by campers from Fort Collins. A spree to Rocky Mountain National Park is worthwhile, and the Sheep Creek Trail is a great hiking trail close by. West Lake gets very little precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February.
