Take a hike on the Main Range Trail, and a round of golf at nearby MT Massive Golf Course is a great way to kill some time. Be careful coming to Sugar Loafin, you might not ever wanna return back home again. This campground is so nice. White River National Forest is worth visiting if you're at Sugar Loafin, and getting to Halfmoon Creek from Sugar Loafin is simple. Lakes are splendid; Crystal Lakes is a lake that's right next door to Sugar Loafin; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Clear Creek. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Sugar Loafin. While you're here at Sugar Loafin you can take a hike along the Mount Massive Trail; the slopes of Ski Cooper are so inviting nobody can resist. Summertime highs at Sugar Loafin commonly tend to be in the 70's, and the overnight is quite chillier of course, generally in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; through the dark hours in the winter at Sugar Loafin temperatures sink to the 0's.
