The snow is great at SolVista, and Roosevelt National Forest is a tremendous place to stretch your legs a bit. State Forest is a location that is quite waterless generally; during May this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.

whitewater of Cache La Poudre River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Montgomery Pass Trail. This is a magnificent campground. You can run the rapids of Joe Wright Creek in close proximity to State Forest, and don't leave State Forest without first going for a hike
| along the Bockman Trail. Gould Mountain can be distinguished from State Forest; the Illinois River Trail offers hiking at its best.
This campground is so magnificent. La Fevre Creek is a brilliant local stream; a tremendous location for whitewater paddling is Cache La Poudre River. Pack your camping stuff and head for the campground; State Forest, Colorado is a good spot for getting out. All the nice local attractions close at hand and the close by outdoors recreation are good causes to come. As if State Forest wasn't enough, you can also go fishing, whitewater paddling, hiking, and swimming, so it's completely out of the question to get bored.
You're in all probability addicted to lakes, North Michigan Creek Reservoir is one of those close by, and nice hiking is available along the Michigan River Trail.

all the cool things to do attract people from far and near. During the summer months here at State Forest, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's.
