The glorious people who manage this place and the nicely taken care of facilities are in themselves reason enough to come here. This campground is always a diversion. There are |
some great whitewater spots on Clear Creek, and South Park Lodge and RV Park is not the only place close by, Bear Creek Lake is a close by lake. Go for a hike on the Beaver Brook Trail; for you golfers we recommend close by Fossil Trace Golf Club.

at Applewood Golf Course.
Yeah, come here to South Park Lodge and RV Park for a great time. The Green Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. There's great hiking along the Saddle Rock Trail; South Park Lodge and RV Park is in the vicinity of Eldorado State Park which is
a scenic place. Some activities here at South Park Lodge and RV Park are swimming, playing golf, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so running out of entertaining things to do won’t happen.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Bear Creek; the top of Green Mountain is easily
seen from South Park Lodge and RV Park. During the summer highs here at South Park Lodge and RV Park reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are commonly in the 40's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at South Park Lodge and RV Park sink into the 10's.
