Harvey Gap State Park is a glorious spot to stretch your legs a bit, and a great place to stop by nearby is Red Canyon. Hughes Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could check out, and golf can be played at Glenwood SPGS Golf Club.

At Silver Bar you don’t see much precipitation; during October this area sees the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. Sunlight Mountain is a great local ski area, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Blue Creek Trail.
