The workforce that operates this campground and the loveliness of the place will make you
feel great. This is such a pretty campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Gunnison River; close by you stumble on the High Foot Trail which is a good hiking trail.
At Shady Creek RV Park you don’t see much precipitation; of
all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain; January is when it's the driest. Go for a hike on the Cottonwood Lakes Foot Trail, and a magnificent site like Sweitzer State Park is too glorious to leave out.
