This campground is so perfect. Don't leave River Fork Camper Park without first going for a hike along the Rough Creek Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Lake Fork Gunnison River.

River Fork Camper Park is a perfect camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the San Juan Mountains. River Fork Camper Park is pretty dried up ordinarily; August is the month
| that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
So many amusing things in the San Juan Mountains, just unbelievable. Kitty Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out, and get dripping wet paddling on Rio Grande.

while overnight lows are frequently in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to River Fork Camper Park. Regan Lake is a splendid lake close to River Fork Camper Park; going for a hike on the Long Ridge Stock Driveway
is always a splendid adventure.
As if River Fork Camper Park wasn't enough, you can also go fishing, hiking, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do. So many local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you happy you came.
And that's not all you can do here at River Fork Camper Park. There are some fine whitewater spots on Henson Creek, and great hiking is available along the McKenzie Stock Driveway. A trip to San Juan National Forest when you're here at River Fork Camper Park is never a bad idea, and there are great sites to discover along the Cebolla Trail.
