This is beyond doubt a great campground. A charming lake like Rifle Gap Reservoir near Rifle Gap is a great spot to stop at; nearby you stumble on the Brush Creek Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy
| all the cool stuff at Rifle Gap. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on White River - South Fork, and when you're here it's always fun to go to Rifle Gap State Park. Rifle Gap is a campground prized by the folks of Rifle.
If you yearn for a little side trip, try Ward Gulch, and if you're here, you could visit Middle Rifle Creek. The surroundings of this campground have such a vast number of things to offer. Have a good hiking adventure along the Mansfield Ditch Trail, and a round of golf at nearby Rifle Creek Golf Course is a delightful way to kill | |

some time. Rifle Gap is typically a reasonably dry spot; during October this area sees the most rain while February is generally the driest month.
The Cache Creek Trail is a good hiking trail close to Rifle Gap, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Rifle here. Camping in Colorado
is such a fun thing to do.
Soar down the rapids of Colorado River in a kayak, and Rifle Falls State Park is a great spot to stretch your legs a bit. If the weather is good here at Rifle Gap, you can go for a hike along the Last Chance Trail, and get covered with water paddling
on White River - North Fork. The friendly folks working here and all the entertaining things to do attract folks from far and wide.
All the wonderful local attractions in the neighborhood and all the outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back many times. Loads
of folks stay here to be near Rifle Gap State Park. You've got to get out of the house, and Rifle Gap, Colorado is a nice place for getting out.
