    temperatures at Rifle Falls plunge into the 0's. This campground is so beautiful. There are brilliant sites to explore along the Bailey Lake Trail, and there are plenty of people from Rifle here at Rifle Falls. A visit to Rifle Falls wouldn’t be complete without a spree to close
by Rifle Falls State Park, and a day on the slopes of Sunlight Mountain is just what you need.
Rifle Falls is a campground prized by the folks from Rifle. A journey to Harvey Gap State Park when you're here at Rifle Falls is a splendid idea, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on White River - North Fork.
Such a fine choice of attractions and such a great deal of things to do are certain to keep you coming back many times. This is beyond doubt a brilliant campground. There is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Rifle Falls called the Hay
 
Flat Trail.
Going for a hike on the Fayville Trail is always a good adventure, and get yourself into a kayak and hit White River - South Fork. If the weather is fine here at Rifle Falls, you can go for a hike along the Mansfield Ditch Trail, and golf can be played at Rifle Creek Golf Course. There are so many amusing things near Rifle Falls, and it's always fun to be at this campground.
But wait, there's more to do near Rifle Falls. On a good day at Rifle Falls you can take a hike along the Last Chance Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Colorado River. Rifle Falls gets very little rain; the wettest month of the year is generally October, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture.
