| | Ridgeway is a very well loved campground by folks from Ouray. So many local attractions and such a large number of things to do will make you glad you came. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Ridgeway. Lakes? Sure, Crystal Lake is close by, and nearby you come across the Weehawken Pack Trail which is a delightful hiking trail.
There are so many fun things to do near Ridgeway; it certainly is a perfect campground. Uncompahgre Gorge is a perfect location to visit close by, and going for a hike on the Bear Creek Trail is always a pleasant |
adventure.
This campground is a good site to pop by. What would winter be without some skiing at Kendall Mountain, and The Blowout is an out of the ordinary spot to have a look at while at Ridgeway. Loads of folks camp here so they can go to Ridgway State Park. Loads of fun
| is at this campground. The top of Sister Peak is easily spotted from Ridgeway, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Mineral Creek - South.
As if Ridgeway wasn't enough, you can also go hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. There are plenty of folks from Ouray here at Ridgeway, and the Horsethief Trail is a good hiking trail nearby.

for a hike on the Greyhound Pack Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Ridgeway while night lows are generally in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Ridgeway overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's.
The caring operators
of the campground and the fine abundance of fun activities are pretty fantastic. Why not stop at close by Portland Creek since you're here at Ridgeway, and you must undeniably dedicate some time to The Amphitheater if you're here at Ridgeway. At Ridgeway you don’t see much rainfall;
the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February.
A tour to Ridgway State Park when you're here at Ridgeway is never a bad idea, and there's whitewater on Lime Creek for all you thrill seekers. Camping out certainly is a
pleasant thing to do; Ridgeway in Colorado is exactly what you need.
Outdoors folks generally like this section of Colorado. Be careful coming to Ridgeway, you might not ever want to go back home again. Good hiking is available along the Cow Creek Trail; get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Cimarron River.
