Ridgeway, Colorado   If you're here at Ridgeway, checking out The Blowout is a must, and there are some great whitewater spots on Lime Creek. Visit Portland Creek while you're here at Ridgeway, and going for a hike on the Weehawken Pack Trail is always a glorious adventure. The surroundings of this campground have such a great deal of things to offer. If you come at the right time of year, Mineral Creek - South offers some splendid whitewater, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Horsethief Trail. Camping out unquestionably is a great thing to do; Ridgeway in Colorado is just what you need. There's plenty   of outdoors recreation available close by such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so there's absolutely no way to get bored. Summertime highs at Ridgeway usually tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Ridgeway sink into the 10's. The Amphitheater is a good site, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Ridgeway; Cow Creek Trail is a great local trail. This is in fact a pleasant campground. The summit of Sister Peak can be seen from Ridgeway; great hiking is available along the Greyhound Pack Trail. A visit to Colorado is not complete without some camping. Ridgway State Park is a great site to go to; you can go for a hike on the Bear Creek Trail. The staff that operates this campground and the competently controlled operations have people coming here. Such a delightful selection of attractions and so much stuff to do will make you pleased you came. It is very dehydrated here at Ridgeway ordinarily; most of the rain falls throughout September, and February is when it's the driest.
