Rifle Falls State Park is a perfect site to stretch your legs a bit. There are so many enjoyable things in close proximity to Prospector, and if you're searching for a nice location to go for a camping trip, this is a great choice.
Some of the water nearby flows, like Roaring Fork River; Sunlight Mountain is a very popular ski area close by.
