Going for a hike on the Hunts Lake Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and there's whitewater on Arkansas River for all you adrenaline junkies. Quite a lot of entertaining things to do in the vicinity of Pleasant Valley Campground, and it is a fun place for everybody. So many fun things to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, not enough time. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Pleasant Valley Campground; Ute Trail is a splendid local trail, and needless to say Cherry Creek flows through this area.
