Lakes are great; Dixon Reservoir is a lake that's in the vicinity of Pickle Gulch; get drenched paddling on Cache La Poudre River. | night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Pickle Gulch nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. Pickle Gulch is a very popular old favorite campground among people of Fort Collins. There's more to do in close proximity to Pickle Gulch other than just hanging out such as swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, playing golf, and fishing, so you won’t get bored. at. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Pickle Gulch. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Wintersteen Trail, and Spring Canyon Dam is a pretty location, beyond doubt worth checking out. Just can't get enough of the Front Range.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Pickle Gulch; Round Mountain Trail is a perfect local trail, and visiting Rocky Mountain National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Don't leave Pickle Gulch without going to Boyd Lake State Park; there's fine hiking

Pickle Gulch in Colorado is exactly what you need. A lot of people stay at this campground when going to Lory State Park. Hiking along the Sheep Creek Trail is nice fun, and since you're here and you like golf, you can check out Fort Collins Country Club Golf. Pickle Gulch is to be found in the Front Range.
