One Mile - Gunnison National Forest, Colorado

| | One Mile is a very popular campground among the people in Delta. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the fun stuff you can do is playing golf, fishing, swimming, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's impossible to get bored. Going for a hike on the Blue Grouse Trail is always a delightful adventure, and if you're stopping by from Delta, you won't be the only one. A day on the slopes of Powderhorn is just what you need; if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Point Camp Trail.

Dry Creek is in the neighborhood of One Mile and is always a delight to explore, and Devil's Thumb Golf Club is a good golf course close by. If spending too much time inside got you
| down, Don't worry; One Mile in Colorado is precisely the location. At One Mile exciting stuff to do is bountiful; it is a fun location for everyone.
The pleasant people working here and the well run operations are in themselves incentive enough to come here. Loads of people pick One Mile for the purpose of being in the vicinity of Sweitzer State Park. This campground is so pleasant. If you yearn for a little side tour, try Dry Gulch, and there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Bull and Brown Trail.

so much fun, and going for a hike along the Point Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Lakes? Sure, Sweitzer Lake is in the vicinity; get yourself into a kayak and hit Escalante Creek. You just should have a thing about One Mile. Sweitzer State Park is
both great and delightful, and it's close to One Mile; why not go to Garnet Mesa Dam while you're here.
High temperatures at One Mile throughout the days of summer are in the 90's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in
the 30's while One Mile night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. This campground has so many enjoyable things to offer. On a tremendous day at One Mile you can take a hike along the Winter Mesa Trail; drift down the rapids of Kannah Creek in a kayak.
One Mile
is pretty dry generally; the wettest month of the year is mostly October, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February.
The tremendous choice of local attractions, and such a tremendous variety of outdoors recreation will beyond doubt have you coming back time and again.
