Navajo is a campground loved by people in Chimney Rock. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the exciting stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, hiking, swimming, playing golf, and fishing, so getting bored is not something
| | that is likely to happen. The good local attractions and such a good variety of outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back over and over. Piedra River has a close by whitewater bit; the 1st Fork Bridge to Lower Piedra Campgound portion is a great 10-mile-in-distance grade III-V bit of whitewater. This bit of Piedra River is well suited for those experienced in kayak paddling. Kayak paddling may get perilous, so check the situation in advance of a trip. Going for a hike on the Fourmile Stock Trail is always a fine adventure, and swing by Devil Creek it's a nice location to have a look at. All year is a nice time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. | |

If the weather is great here at Navajo, you can go for a hike along the Devil Mountain Trail. Everyone loves a good game of mini golf at Bogey's Mini Golf; close by you come across the Piedra Stock Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail.
