| | Coming to this campground is always a good idea. San Juan National Forest is a glorious spot to have a look at on a wonderful day. At last, camping time is here again, and Navajo is a great local campground if you happen to be in Colorado. So much cool stuff to do here in the San Juan Mountains, too nice to be true. Near Navajo you find the Piedra Stock Trail which is a good hiking trail; you'll meet a lot of people from Chimney Rock here. There is a glorious hiking trail right next door to Navajo called the Pine-Piedra Stock Driveway, and visiting |
Navajo Lake State Park is a nice thing to do. The tremendous local attractions and such a tremendous variety of outdoors recreation will unquestionably have you coming back repeatedly. The Middle Mountain Trail is a pleasant hiking trail near Navajo, and the vista of Chimney
| Rock is beautiful. The San Juan Mountains scenery is always stunning. All year is a great time in the San Juan Mountains if you love the outdoors. Visit Devil Creek while you're here at Navajo, and Piedra River is a great whitewater spot close by. Navajo gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. in the 30's while Navajo overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. Navajo is fantastically popular with folks in Chimney Rock. There is so much entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Navajo, and campgrounds like these are great. Man, is there heaps of
fun things to do next to Navajo. On a delightful day at Navajo you can take a hike along the Devil Mountain Trail, and a lake nearby is Pargin Reservoir. This campground is a good location to have a look at. Going for a hike on the Fourmile Stock Trail is always a perfect adventure,
and you can run the rapids of Piedra River. Colorado is a great outdoors state. The pleasant people working here and the good quality of everything here are cause enough to come here.
