Trail. If you're here, you might as well go to Idaho Gulch. Not much precipitation falls here at Molas Lake Park; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is June. Be careful coming to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, you might not ever want
to go home again. Getting to Bear Creek from Molas Lake Park is trouble-free, and Ridgway State Park is worth taking a look at. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the cool stuff you can do is fishing, hiking, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so running out of exciting things
to do won’t happen. All the cheery folks and a lot of cool things to do are reason enough to come here. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Molas Lake Park. What would winter be without some skiing at Silverton, and if the weather is good, you can go
for a hike along the Greyhound Pack Trail. If you come to this campground, you will have a good time for sure. This is a brilliant area for folks who like lakes. Molas Lake is a lake around here, and San Juan National Forest is a fine place to go. Molas Lake Park is a very popular campground with the folks in Silverton.
