The pleasant personnel and the nicely controlled operations are in themselves reason enough to come here. Mancos is positioned in the Mesa Verde. Some people camp here to be in the neighborhood of Mancos State Park. Going for a hike along the Wheeler Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. You're sure to stumble upon some friendly people from Mancos here, and a visit to a close by bowling alley such as Lakeside Lanes is always       enjoyable. This is truly a splendid campground. South Forty Golf Course is a great golf course close by, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Chicken Creek Trail. A day of fishing at Cannibal Canyon Trout Ranch   is always an excellent idea; the Old Tourist Trail is a great hiking trail close by. If you're here at Mancos, you could check out Chicken Creek, and do take a hike on the Whites Trail. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do in the vicinity of Mancos.
