| | So much amusing stuff in the Mesa Verde, just impressive. Good hiking is available along the Whites Trail. Lakes? Sure, Bauer Reservoir Number 2 is nearby. Mancos is a very well prized campground by people in Mancos. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Mesa Verde. Hesperus Ski Center has great slopes and a friendly staff; San Juan River is a splendid whitewater spot close by.

can run the rapids of Dolores River. Mancos is one of the sites to camp here in the Mesa Verde.
At Mancos you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is March, and June on the other hand is the driest. This campground has so many enjoyable things to offer.
| Mancos is right by the Chicken Creek Trail, and do take a hike on the Old Tourist Trail. Visiting Yucca House National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and lots of folks from Mancos come here.
The good variety of local attractions and the good variety of outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. That right there is a load already, but it carries on; Mancos has it all. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Wheeler Trail, and the vistas at Mesa Verde National Park will blow your mind.

next door to Mancos, and if you're trying to locate a wonderful site to go for a weekend of camping, this is a good selection. Places like Mancos State Park are nice to stop by, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Mancos; East Rim Trail is a pleasant local trail.
During
the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Mancos, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Mancos temperatures plunge to the 10's. Many people
stay at Mancos to be near Mancos State Park.
There's plenty of outdoors recreation available nearby such as fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, and hiking, so it's just not possible to get bored.
