Lodgepole - Gunnison National Forest, Colorado

Kannah Creek is a great whitewater spot in close proximity to Lodgepole, and hiking along the Blue Grouse Trail is brilliant fun. Coming to this campground is always a good idea. Sweitzer State Park is a gorgeous spot any time of year, and a magnificent place is Dry Gulch.

Getting to Dry Creek from Lodgepole is simple; magnificent water scenery is available at Garnet Mesa Dam right next door to Lodgepole. All through the warmest time of the year here at Lodgepole, high temperatures commonly reach the 90's, and through summer
| nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Lodgepole dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. If you get bored of Lodgepole, you could also pop by close by Sweitzer Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lodgepole; Point Trail is a great local trail.

it's about time you went camping, wouldn't you agree? Lodgepole in Colorado is a really nice location to spend some time. Around Lodgepole you don’t get a lot of rain; October is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest.

at Lodgepole when going to Sweitzer State Park. Lodgepole is right by the Winter Mesa Trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Powderhorn if you're here.
So many fun things next to Lodgepole, completely mind-boggling. Grand Mesa National Forest is
a great location to explore. The splendid choice of local attractions, and the close by outdoors recreation are tremendous incentives to come.
Having a magnificent time at Lodgepole is painless. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Escalante Creek, and Devil's Thumb Golf Club is a golf course close by.
