Lathrop, Sangre De Cristo Mountains, Colorado   Loads of people stay at this campground when they come to pop by Lathrop State Park. At Martin Lake Dam near Lathrop there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and glorious hiking is available along the Apishapa Trail. At Lathrop you don’t see much rain; August is the month that gets the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. A campground like this is too delightful to miss. A trip to Lathrop wouldn’t be complete without a journey to close by Lathrop State Park, and Eldora is a nice local ski area. This is a popular site for folks from Walsenburg; you can go for a hike on the Black Hills Trail. These mountains rock, just look at all the cool stuff to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Walsenburg Golf Club is a good golf course nearby, and there are good spots to look at along the Bartlett Trail. The splendid variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are delightful incentives to come. Lathrop is a campground liked by the people from Walsenburg. Man, is there loads of fun things to do next to Lathrop. At Lathrop you can catch a sight of Walsen Crag, and there's brilliant hiking along the West Peak Trail.
