    lows are usually in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lakeview-Bighorn are in the 10's.
Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the exciting stuff you can do is fishing, playing golf, swimming, hiking, and
whitewater paddling, so running out of enjoyable things to do won’t happen. Don't leave Lakeview-Bighorn without first going for a hike along the Blue Grouse Trail, and don't leave without dropping by Sweitzer State Park. There's absolutely no way to run out of amusing things to do in the neighborhood of Lakeview-Bighorn; campgrounds like these are great.
Such a fine selection of attractions and the fine variety of outdoors recreation are fine reasons to come. This is really a great campground. Gunnison River is a good whitewater spot in the vicinity
 
of Lakeview-Bighorn; a lake close by is Sweitzer Lake. Going for a weekend of camping here in Colorado is something you have to do.
Go for a hike on the Bull and Brown Trail; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Devil's Thumb Golf Club is around here. This campground is so striking. Going for a hike on the Point Camp Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and the slopes of Powderhorn are so inviting nobody can resist.
Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Lakeview-Bighorn. Near Lakeview-Bighorn you come across the Point Trail which is a good hiking trail, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kannah Creek. A lot of folks stay here to be near Sweitzer State Park. Whitewater paddling is good on Escalante Creek, and the good folks of Delta like to hang out close by.
Lakeview-Bighorn is a very well liked campground by the folks from Delta. There are magnificent sites to discover along the Winter Mesa Trail, and the scenery at Garnet Mesa Dam is pretty.
Lakeview-Bighorn is pretty dried out typically; of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month.
