Lakeview - Pike National Forest, Colorado

| | You need to get out of the house, and Lakeview in Colorado is exactly the place. This campground is always a diversion. While you're here at Lakeview you can play some golf at Elmwood Golf Course, and a gorgeous lake like Pueblo Reservoir is a fine location to go to. It is very dried out here at Lakeview generally; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is January.

There's such an incredible array of things to do at Lakeview including playing golf, swimming, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do. Pueblo State Park is a good spot; while you're here, you could stop
| at Williams Creek.
At Lakeview through the summer months highs are in the 70's while night lows are frequently in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's while Lakeview overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. There are plenty of folks from Pueblo here at Lakeview, and obviously, all our national parks are perfect sites to stop by and Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is no exception.
