This is a great campground. Float down the rapids of Gunnison River in a kayak, and a visit to Sweitzer State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.

here at Lake Irwin, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Irwin; Bull and Brown Trail is a great local trail.
Lake Irwin is fantastically well esteemed by the residents of Delta. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Escalante Creek, and why not spend some
time golfing at a close by golf course like Devil's Thumb Golf Club. If you come at the right time of year, Kannah Creek offers some great whitewater, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Blue Grouse Trail.
A campground like this is too great to miss. Everybody close
by loves skiing at Powderhorn, and don't leave Lake Irwin without first going for a hike along the Point Camp Trail. A number of folks opt for this campground when going to Sweitzer State Park.
Dry Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting; you can go
for a hike on the Point Trail. How long has it been since you went camping for a couple of days? Lake Irwin is a wonderful local campground if you happen to be in Colorado.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Lake Irwin while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Irwin are in the 10's.
